3. Cedric Alexander

Reason: Vince McMahon cancelled his push.

It feels like a lifetime ago that Cedric Alexander was working in tag matches with top names like Roman Reigns, beating Drew McIntyre and wrestling AJ Styles on Raw. Last summer, things were looking up for the former 205 Live man. Not anymore.

Dave Meltzer said on Wrestling Observer Radio that Vince McMahon doesn't see much in Alexander and called for his push to be aborted in September. McMahon must've looked at the opportunities Paul Heyman was giving Cedric, scratched his head and decided to put a stop to it. That'd make sense, because Alexander has been relegated to working episodes of Main Event and last appeared in-ring on Raw's 8 November 2019 show against Andrade.

That three-minute loss was hardly complimentary, and he's been limited to 'C' shows and live events ever since 2019's brief shine. Not even Heyman's influence can save Alexander from Vince's whims, apparently.
