Fantasy Booking Triple H's FIRST WWE WrestleMania
7. Bianca Belair Vs. Asuka
Asuka is tired as a babyface; a great worker stigmatised as a B-level PPV challenger in the role, what was once endearing and irreverent character work is now feeling wacky.
She's played heel on the main roster, but it wasn't the same. She was fun as the mischievous villain, but she lacked the killer, unbeatable aura with which she highlighted NXT at her peak. For a clue on how Triple H might factor her into his plans, look at Kevin Owens. Ostensibly, Owens has been retconned. He is the 2015 version of the character again, as he has all but revealed in less-than-coded messages.
Asuka could well be reset too; after all, it's not as if the original character rans its course. It's that Vince had no interest in booking that version of the character.
Bianca Belair is Mrs. WrestleMania now, and a match with Asuka would further legitimise that lofty aura. The prospect of a reborn killer Asuka neutralising that awesome power game is brilliant, and they have shown abundant chemistry in matches that didn't even approach the ideal dynamic.
