Former Women's Champions Return To WWE On Raw
Recent Raw draftees make their first appearances in more than a month.
WWE Women's Tag Team Champions Raquel Rodriguez and Liv Morgan might have their hands full with the latest returning superstars on Raw.
Monday night, "Rowdy" Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler returned to WWE programming to attack Raquel after she had defeated Chelsea Green in singles action. The MMA duo last competed in the women's tag team showcase at WrestleMania 39, which they won. Rousey barely wrestled in that match due to an elbow injury.
Rousey and Baszler were drafted as a pair to Raw a couple weeks ago, heavily implying that the two would continue their quest to become women's tag champions, a plan that got derailed due to Ronda's injury. Monday's attack confirmed that direction and put the tag champs squarely in the crosshairs.

However, a tag title match might have to wait for a bit, because Liv Morgan was not medically cleared to compete, though it's unclear how much time - if any - she might miss.
Having Rousey and Baszler back should be a boon to the women's division. If they capture tag gold, they could elevate those titles if booked properly. It also helps that the two are longtime friends and partners, rather than the overwhelming number of thrown-together tandems who challenge for and often win the women's tag titles.
Baszler of course is a former two-time WWE Women's Tag Team Champion with Nia Jax.
