Former WWE writer Brian Gewirtz is writing a book about his time with the market-leading wrestling promotion.

This is according to PWInsider's Mike Johnson. Per the report, Gewirtz's book will be coming out at some point in summer 2022 via Twelve Books, which is an imprint of Hachette Book Group. No further details have been made public as of yet.

Gewirtz's tenure in WWE, particularly for a member of the creative team, should mean he has no shortage of stories to tell. He was first brought into the company in 1999 and eventually ascended to the position of lead writer, before departing from his full-time position in 2012. Gewirtz stayed on as a consultant for the next three years, however.

Gewirtz has made a number of appearances on various WWE documentary series over the past few years, including episodes of WWE 24 and WWE Icons earlier in 2021.
