With the WWE main roster having now experienced its first ever WarGames matches, the 2022 Survivor Series is in the record books.

In the opening match of the PPV, the team of Bianca Belair, Becky Lynch, Asuka, Alexa Bliss and Mia Yim emerged victorious over Bayley, IYO SKY, Dakota Kai, Nikki Cross and Rhea Ripley in a WarGames bout. That win was secured by Lynch, as the Man nailed a leg drop on Kai – and SKY - from the top of the WarGames cage through a table.

Up next, AJ Styles scored a win over fellow former Bullet Club leader, Finn Balor. The finish of that match saw Styles hit the Phenomenal Forearm for the victory shortly after the Prince had missed his patented Coup de Grace.

Following that contest, Ronda Rousey retained the SmackDown Women’s Championship over Shotzi. A relatively straightforward win for the Rowdy One, Rousey got the W after hitting her opponent with the Piper’s Pit and then making her tap out to the armbar.

The fourth match of the night, Austin Theory is your new WWE United States Champion. While Seth Rollins walked into Survivor Series as the US Champ, it was Theory who emerged victorious in a triple threat offering also featuring Bobby Lashley. The end of the match saw the All Mighty spear Rollins while the Visionary was in the process of hitting the Falcon Arrow on Theory. As part of the momentum of this sequence, Theory fell on Rollins to get the 1-2-3.

In the main event, the Bloodline bested Kevin Owens, Drew McIntyre, Sheamus, Butch and Ridge Holland in the second WarGames match of the night. Despite showing some hesitation, Sami Zayn nailed the Helluva Kick on Kevin Owens, which then led to Jey Uso pinning KO after hitting a Frog Splash.

All in all, Survivor Series 2022 was a very decent PPV, clocking in at just over three hours for its five matches.
