205 Live is struggling to carve out it's own niche under the WWE umbrella. Having spawned from the hype surrounding the Cruiserweight Classic, 205 Live has attempted to replicate the CWC's success on a weekly basis with only half the roster.

The show struggled out of the gate, but found a credible leader in a freshly-heel Neville. He has set the bar remarkably high for WWE's new generation of light-heavyweights, with only the likes of Akira Tozawa and Austin Aries providing him legitimate competition.

Quite simply, 205 Live's mainstays need to step up. Fortunately, the show is top-to-toe talent who, rather than suffering from a lack of in-ring prowess, simply haven't worked out the formula to getting over with WWE fans. Jack Gallagher is perhaps the furthest along in this pursuit.

His English gentleman character and quirky moveset distinguishes him from the pack, and his connection with the audience has certainly improved. To dethrone the red-hot Neville would be a serious feather in the cap, and if Tozawa doesn't get there first, Gallagher could mount an offensive on his fellow Brit.

Gallagher has shown plenty of glimpses at the Cruiserweight Champion he could be, and to follow Neville could entrench 205 Live as a truly British wrestling show. Perhaps the Bruiserweight or Tyler Bate could then be tempted to debut on 205 Live.
