Hot Wrestling Takes So BAD They'll MELT Your Brain

5. Bully Ray Questions If People Like Kenny Omega

Kenny Omega is a beloved professional wrestler renowned as one of the very best of all-time.

The atmosphere he generated at the Tokyo Dome on January 4, 2017, was unlike anything ever heard. Everybody in that building reacted to his masterpiece with Kazuchika Okada - which wasn't even the best match he had with him - with a differing level of disbelief. They were each processing their overwhelming emotions differently. Go back and listen. It sounds like the world is ending in 100 different places.

Omega's fans will watch something he does in 2023 and recall with amazement how it links back to something he did in 2012. The Golden Lovers inspire a level of devotion few others do. People in the LGTBQIA+ community adore the man for representing them. People still watch Being The Elite in 2023. That's how ardent their love is.

And then Bully Ray says this on busted Open Radio in 2021:

"Lemme ask the AEW fans this...do you really care about Kenny Omega? Or do you just care about the One-Winged Angel and his V-Triggers?

The irony of course is that if somebody had asked "Do you REALLY care about the Dudley Boyz...or do you just care about watching tables get broken?", people would say "Yeah actually I just like the tables bit really".

If you took the table away from the Dudley Boyz, they have absolutely nothing. They might get a reaction when Bubba would say something typically revolting like "I hope you slip and die on your mother's tw*t slime!", but that is about it.

Name one undisputedly great match the Dudley Boyz worked sans plunder. Go on - be a fan and think about it.
