Hot Wrestling Takes So BAD They'll MELT Your Brain
4. Don't Go Into The Trenches With Disco Inferno
Disco Inferno, fittingly, knows his way around a burn. He treats them every week, or at least he used to, before most people figured out his grift.
Disco, mildly amusing for a few seconds in the mid '90s, now frequents Konnan's podcast - do you listen to it? - and makes a t*t of himself. Frequently. Looking at the absolute state of AAA, which Konnan books, listening to them criticise another wrestling promotion is not unlike Nia Jax teaching a health and safety course.
Disco has spouted so much nonsense that he probably eats via his anus, and had this to say, in July 2020, about the Wednesday Night Wars ratings:
"Who publicly predicted on the podcasts six weeks ago that @WWENXT was turning the tide against @AEWonTNT??"
Disco's argument was based on the idea that NXT, with typical desperation, had just defeated AEW in overall viewers on the promise of a title unification match.
Two things:
Subsequent to Disco's tweet, NXT only defeated Dynamite twice more in overall viewership. NXT only once, ever, defeated Dynamite in the key demo.
Also, Disco claimed it was "discrimination" not to include those aged 49+ when analysing the popularity of each show. Dynamite toppled NXT in total viewers far more often than not, and moreover, he fat-shamed AEW talents months later, and isn't that the same thing? One that didn't support his asinine, incorrect point?
