A bona fide dream match has been announced for AEW Dynasty.

AEW Dynasty Bryan Danielson Will Ospreay
AEW

With AEW Dynasty recently announced for next month, the first match has been confirmed for this PPV - and it's a huge one!

As seen on last night's AEW Collision, Bryan Danielson vs. Will Ospreay is official for Dynasty on Sunday 21 April from St. Louis, Missouri's Chaifetz Arena. This will be the first ever meeting between the two.

Of course, Danielson and Ospreay had a brief staredown on AEW Dynamite this past Wednesday, and Collision saw the Aerial Assassin head to the ring after Bryan had defeated Shane Taylor in the show's opening match. There, the American Dragon laid down the challenge to Ospreay for AEW Dynasty, with the former IWGP World Heavyweight Champion responding with a definitive "Yes, bruv!". The pair would then shake hands, with AEW quick to make the bout official.

Having formally joined AEW last month after eight years with New Japan Pro-Wrestling, AEW Dynasty will be Will Ospreay's second PPV appearance for the promotion since officially becoming #AllElite. Of course, this will also be another must-see bout on the final full-time run of Bryan Danielson's career, with the Blackpool Combat Club man winding down his time as a full-time competitor this year.
