HUGE Name Returning To WWE Soon

WWE roster set to be bolstered by imminent return of MAJOR player.

Brock Lesnar

Brock Lesnar is on his way back to WWE television.

This is the word of Dave Meltzer, who writes in the Wrestling Observer/Figure Four Online's latest Daily Update column that Lesnar is due to return to the company "very soon."

There is currently no word on a specific date for Lesnar, who has not wrestled for WWE since August 2023. That last bout concluded a three-match series against Cody Rhodes, whom Lesnar put over strongly, going 1-2 against 'The American Nightmare' at Backlash, Night of Champions, and SummerSlam 2023, with varying levels of clean and dirty finishes.

SummerSlam was a particularly impressive rub. Not only did Rhodes topple Lesnar to take their series, but Brock seemingly went off-script after the match by raising Cody's arm into the air in a show of respect atypical of 'The Beast Incarnate.'

Speculative minds may look towards 27 January's Royal Rumble 2024 premium live event as a potential return point for Lesnar, given the event's long-held tradition as a host of returns and debuts. As one of WWE's biggest names and a perennial contender, it'd stand to reason that the company would want Lesnar back before WrestleMania 40.
