IMPACT Wrestling have sent out press releases announcing that they've struck a new TV deal with Premier Sports to air programming in the UK and Ireland.

The promotion's weekly IMPACT TV show will air at 10pm every Wednesday on Premier's FreeSports channel. That means the company returns to a prime time spot on free UK television - the 10pm time is also a good one.

Top pay-per-view events, including Bound For Glory, will air live on the main Premier Sports feed.

It's worth pointing out that there's a lot of wrestling content currently available on free television in the UK. WWE air programming on Channel 5, AEW show Dynamite on ITV4 and now IMPACT joins the line up on FreeSports.

Again though, it's only the weekly IMPACT show that's on free-to-air telly. Larger events, like the aforementioned Bound For Glory and others like Victory Road, will be behind a pay wall on Premier Sports.

Regardless, this is great news for IMPACT fans in the UK and Ireland. The company was previously on Channel 5, but there's a chance WWE's deal with that network has caused them to move.
