IMPACT Wrestling Rebellion 2021: 8 Things That Must Happen

2. Kenny Omega Wins Clean

There's no doubt that Kenny Omega is going to lift the IMPACT World Championship at Rebellion. Had Omega's AEW World Championship not also been defended here, then sure, maybe Rich Swann would be retaining. Omega is winning.

And he should do so cleanly.

There's no need for 'The Best Bout Machine' to become the new champion by doing so through nefarious means. There are numerous ways for him to do so, of course, be it through Don Callis distracting the referee or The Good Brothers running interference. Hell, even The Young Bucks could show up in their old home promotion.

As good as a Matt and Nick Jackson return to IMPACT would be superb, there's no need for it to interrupt a perfectly good title vs. title bout. The match is simply too important for it to be potentially ruined by such a grand appearance.

Both Tony Khan and Scott D'Amore have confirmed there is going to be a definitive winner in the match, with Khan teasing AEW official Aubrey Edwards as the referee for the match. All signs are pointing towards a clean as clean gets championship showdown. After the match, though?
