IMPACT Wrestling Slammiversary 2021: Every Match Ranked From Worst To Best

7. IMPACT Knockouts Tag Team Titles: Fire N Flava (c) Vs. Decay

Result: Kiera Hogan suffered a Tombstone Piledriver from Havok to crown new champions (8:55).

Rating: Despite being on the Countdown To Slammiversary pre-show, IMPACT Wrestling do actually still care about the Knockouts Tag Team Championships, as evidenced by Decay's Rosemary and Havok lifting the titles mere days after the latter officially joined the faction. By having her fully join the group, you more or less knew that a swift title change was on its way.

This didn't take anything away from the match itself, though, as Fire N Flava delivered a great outing against Decay. Tasha Steelz - who was wrestling her first IMPACT match before a live audience - bounced off the reaction brilliantly, reeling in their adulation as she put in a stellar performance against the challengers. Her ringside Crossbody on Rosemary and Steve was blissful, as was her sell of a Rosemary spear.

It was Kiera Hogan who got pinned, taking a Tombstone Piledriver from Havok. As enjoyable as Hogan and Steelz have been as champions, they've held the straps more or less since January aside from a brief stint from Jordynne Grace and Rachael Ellering in spring. Thus, new, first-time champions were required to keep the titles hot. Next stage; getting more teams for the division. 5/10
