WWE treated fans inside Madison Square Garden to some tasty dark matches treats once Friday's episode of SmackDown went off-air.

Both featured post-show bouts were rematches; one from a recent episode of SmackDown over in the UK, and one from Money In The Bank. It's also worth noting that a few Raw stars hit up SmackDown for some cross-brand action.

Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn toppled Pretty Deadly yet again in the first post-show clash. Both teams previously worked together in London, and had a hell of a match on TV. It's likely this repeat was just as good, which bodes well for Pretty Deadly.

Next up, Seth Rollins wrestled Finn Bálor and scored another win over the Judgment Day man. There's no reports of more tension between stable members, or if the likes of Damian Priest, Dominik Mysterio or Rhea Ripley even accompanied Finn to MSG at all.

WWE is more likely to keep back that kind of storytelling for TV rather than in dark match segments, but you never know. It wouldn't have been hard to tack on even more miscommunication to keep the story ticking in front of a key market.
