PWInsider got its hands on some internal lists showing who WWE considered the top five male and female heels/babyfaces on SmackDown.

Let's start with the men:

Roman Reigns unsurprisingly heads up the heel side there. In order, others include Karrion Kross, Solo Sikoa, GUNTHER and LA Knight. It's perhaps surprising that Kross and Sikoa are ahead of the reigning Intercontinental Champion.

On the babyface side, WWE's writers view Bray Wyatt, Sami Zayn (who turned at Royal Rumble), Drew McIntyre, Braun Strowman and Rey Mysterio as the top picks.

The women's side also has a few shocks in store:

Ronda Rousey, Shayna Baszler, Sonya Deville, Lacey Evans and Xia Li are considered the top five heels in SmackDown's female division. Li could be considered a shocker there, because WWE hasn't really done much with her since she moved up from NXT.

On the babyface side is Charlotte Flair, Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez, Shotzi and Natalya. No offence intended, but Nattie being there probably shows the lack of depth on the face wing. There's a chance Flair will also revert to a heel role eventually too - she's always been more comfortable as a villain.
