Is THIS WWE Raw's Next Big Tag-Team?

WWE might've just teased a coming tag-team run on the latest episode of Raw.

Finn Bálor came to AJ Styles' rescue on Monday's episode of Raw.

The Irishman saved AJ from a kicking at the hands of Edge and Damian Priest following Styles' win over the latter in a match that had WrestleMania Backlash consequences - Priest is now banned from ringside for AJ's rematch with Edge this Sunday.

Post-match, Styles and Bálor indulged in a little 'Too Sweet' hand gesture action. Was this WWE's way of teasing a longer-term union between both men on TV? Or, will their onscreen friendship be something shorter-lived and only exist as a plot device to further AJ's feud with Edge?

Only time will tell.

WWE could squeeze something more out of AJ and Finn though. They complement one another well in-ring, and have history together elsewhere. Both guys were leaders in New Japan's Bullet Club faction (Bálor was first), but they've also worked against one another in WWE too.

A tag-team run could prove fruitful for Raw's writers, if they're interested. Of course, RK-Bro are riding high as the brand's reigning tag champs right now. That'd need to change before the babyface duo of Styles/Bálor entered the mix.
