Jack King's 10 Favourite WWE Matches Of All Time

3. Undertaker Vs. Shawn Michaels - WrestleMania 25

I realise that there's a lot of Shawn Michaels on this list, but that probably says more about his brilliance than my shameful favouritism. Probably.

HBK and Undertaker completely upstaged the main event of WrestleMania 25 (Triple H vs. Randy Orton), putting on a bout widely regarded as one of the greatest of all time. The pair essentially set the template for big, modern-day 'Mania matches - kicking out of multiple finishers, pulling innovative reversals out of the big, and sucking the crowd in further which each near-fall.

Crucially, they did all this before it was commonplace (and both men are big enough legends that their incredible resilience was totally believable).

Some prefer their rematch the following year - which is similarly brilliant in a slightly different way - but I can't personally look past this clash. An unquestionable highlight of both men's storied careers.

Hidden Highlight: Ironically, one of the most dramatic moments of this match is also its only botch. Undertaker flies for a big dive over the top rope, Shawn pulls the cameraman in the way, and 'Taker suffers a terrifying landing on the top of his head. Miraculously, he emerges unhurt.
