John Cena’s 10 Other Moves Of Doom

Take one look at John Cena’s insanely super-jacked body and you’d take a good guess he’s hugely strong and you’d be right. His power and strength are something else. On his 40th birthday a few years back Cena made a point of deadlifting 602lbs.

John’s built a career in lifting large opponents ever since his debut in 2002. Like lifting the Big Show for an Attitude Adjustment is impressive enough, but when you add and lay Edge on top of Show at WrestleMania XXV it becomes superhero-like. WWE’s franchise player has a scorecard of lifting heavy opponents. “As far as people picking me up, nobody is like John. When Cena picks you up, it’s like you’re standing on concrete. He is literally like a machine,” said Big Show in an interview. Given Show’s took on The Great Khali, Brock Lesnar and Mark Henry, this is a strong statement.

His strength being a strength, Cena took advantage of it in his moveset to incorporate the electric chair. It's a hold where Cena easily hoists an opponent up onto his shoulders and then slams them down to the mat, and he has performed it on the likes of AJ Styles and Seth Rollins in stellar matches.
