5. Saying He Was Leaving, Then Staying

The WWE's franchise star shockingly won, in a result no one saw coming. Then something odd happened, Cena took a microphone and started cutting a promo. Apparently shooting he began, "I'm probably going to get sent home for speaking when I'm not spoken to, but I think I'm heading home anyway." The star then went on to talk about how the boss would be kicking him out the door. "If I've got to take a vacation for a while so be it, I'm going away for a while, I just want to say thanks for one hell of a last ride. If I'm going out I wouldn't want to do it any other way." It was unusual to say the least and it provoked Brock Lesnar into a furious rage backstage, feeling like Cena's promo had overshadowed the match. Embarrassingly, Cena never even left the WWE, nothing came of this goodbye. He made Vince and Lesnar mad all for nothing. We still don't know what he was on about, but perhaps it was all to do with the divorce he was going through at the time.
