Jim Ross thinks so...

WWE Hall Of Famer and former announcer Jim Ross believes UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones would be interested in working with WWE in the near future.

Writing via his regular blog, JR talked about Jones sending out a challenge to Brock Lesnar at UFC 214 and said that "word on the street" was the MMA striking standout was open to working in the pro wrestling world if WWE came calling.

This could be some brilliant cross-promotion for WWE and UFC, who will both be aware of the significant box office interest a fight pitting Jones against Lesnar would garner.

To Ross, it's a no-brainer to put the pair inside the Octagon, but the announcer also feels Jones might have his head turned by the money he could make in WWE. Merely promoting a Jon Jones appearance on Raw would bring new viewers to WWE and allow he and Lesnar to fan the flames before matching up.

It's pretty hard to see holes in JR's logic here. There's an air of inevitability surrounding the fight, so WWE may as well get on board to reap some of the rewards.
