Jon Moxley In-Ring Return Confirmed

Jon Moxley will make his in-ring return before the end of the month!

Jon Moxley will compete at The Wrld On GCW show on January 23.

Going down inside of the sold out famous Hammerstein Ballroom, the GCW World Champion will put his belt on the line against “The Notorious 187” Homicide. Said showdown will be Mox's first in-ring appearance since October 30, a night that saw him see off Jimmy Jacobs during The Wrestling Revolver’s Tales From The Ring 4 show. The AEW man also hasn't appeared on TV or PPV since October 27 when he battered Ten in the AEW World Championship Eliminator tournament on an episode of AEW Dynamite.

It was after these aforementioned October appearances when Mox decided to take some time away from the ring so he could enter rehabilitation for alcohol treatment.

Moxley's return appearance coming on a show not affiliated with AEW comes as something of a surprise as many would've imagined that Tony Khan and his team would've preferred to have been the promotion to offer Mox the stage for his long-awaited comeback. There's no telling if the former AEW World Champion will make his presence known in the company before January 23.

But the most important thing here is that Mox feels healthy and happy enough within himself to step back in-between the ropes again.
