Jon Moxley To Face Chris Dickinson At Josh Barnett's Bloodsport
The AEW World Champion will take on the 'Dirty Daddy' on October 11.
AEW World Champion Jon Moxley will face off against Chris Dickinson at Josh Barnett's Bloodsport on October 11.
After successfully defending his AEW Championship against Eddie Kingston on this week's episode of Dynamite, MMA star Josh Barnett revealed on Twitter that 'Mox' would be taking on the 'Dirty Daddy' in the headline bout.
Barnett's GCW event uniquely presents matches that can only be won via knockout or submission, giving the entire night a 'shoot' style feel. On top of this, the traditional wrestling ring is replaced by a basic canvas with no turnbuckles or ropes.
Moxley was originally set to take on Barnett at the last iteration of the show, but was sadly forced to pull out after picking up an infection in his elbow.
The likes of WWE's Timothy Thatcher, Karrion Kross, Matt Riddle and Walter have all appeared at various Bloodsport events in the past, while MMA legends like Frank Mir and Dan Severn have also showed up to fight from time to time.
With Moxley also set to defend his AEW belt against the daunting Lance Archer in the near future, it looks like the 'Purveyor of Viloence' has a tough couple of weeks ahead.
