Kane vs Daniel Bryan Stretcher Match At WWE Money In The Bank Announced
Stephanie McMahon has made a final ruling on the WWE title situation, announcing on Raw that Daniel Bryan must defend the belt at Money In The Bank. She added that Bryan's defence of the title will be in a 'stretcher match' against the demon Kane. Further to this, if Bryan isn't fit enough to compete, she will strip him of the title and make the Money In The Bank ladder match for the Championship. This was a pretty good booking move from WWE. It means that we finally have clarification on the WWE title situation, making Money In The Bank seem a far more valuable card than Payback was. Whether it's Bryan defending the title or the excitement of the belt in the ladder match, we are definitely going to see the championship on the line somewhere. The other thing to note about Stephanie's title announcement was John Cena interrupted her. This was mainly for John to put over Bryan as a good champion, but also it indicates that John is perhaps back in the title scene himself. Just talking about the title and Bryan is establishing Cena in the equation. In the longer term it's surely just a matter of time until WWE's number 1 star and number 2 star face off again. The other notable Money In The Bank development to come out of Raw was Alberto Del Rio beating Dolph Ziggler to qualify as the first entrant into the briefcase ladder match. This is a much needed boost for Del Rio's stalled career, he's a great worker and can contribute far more. However, the same can be said of Dolph Ziggler, and it's disappointing to see him overlooked yet again.
