Kane’s 10 Most Disturbing WWE Relationships

3. Lita

WWE.comWWE.comWhen it comes to learning how to woo the ladies, Kane's not just a fast mover, but between having a girlfriend in 1998, by 2004, he may also have had rapist tendencies in his character, too. That's the lesson we learned when confronted with the story of Kane and Lita's sordid 2004-2005 affair. The story began innocently enough, as, following a defeat at the hands of his storyline brother, The Undertaker, at WrestleMania XX, Kane fell in love with Lita, but was spurned, even though he assaulted her then on-screen boyfriend Matt Hardy numerous times to showcase his affection. This led to Kane kidnapping Lita in May 2004, and Lita replying "yes" to an unknown question. Soon thereafter, Lita announced that she was pregnant, with Matt Hardy believed to be the father. However, Kane later claimed that he, and not Hardy had impregnated Lita in order to in order to "continue his legacy." Shamed, Lita later low-blowed Kane after a match, Kane then immediately attempting to chokeslam her, then realizing that in chokeslamming the carrier of his child, he would likely cause her to have a miscarriage. After winning Lita's hand in marriage in a "Till Death Do Us Part" match at SummerSlam 2004, Kane "married" Lita on an episode Raw, successfully fending off an attack by Hardy during the nuptials. A few weeks later, during a match with Gene Snitsky on Raw, Kane accidentally fell on Lita after being hit in the back by Snitsky with a chair, with Lita's miscarriage as a result.
