Kevin Owens Calls Out Matthew McConaughey For WrestleMania 39
Kevin Owens has already shot his shot for next year's Show of Shows... alright, alright, alright.
Kevin Owens wants Matthew McConaughey at WrestleMania 39.
Speaking on a recent appearance on the After the Bell podcast, Night One of WrestleMania 38 main-eventer KO took some time to reflect on this year's epic Show of Shows, noting how proud he was of old pal Sami Zayn and his Jackass performance at the event.
When nudged on his own opinion of celebrity involvement within the wrestling sphere, the former Universal Champion noted that he didn't actually mind famous folk from outside his world stepping in-between the ropes - provided they treated the industry and craft with respect, of course.
It was when immersed in this topic that Owens decided to make it known which famous face he would like to pick a fight with should the opportunity arise. None other than self-professed WWE fan and Oscar-winning actor Matthew McConaughey is the loudmouth Canadian's number #1 pick, with Owens telling Corey Graves and Vic Joseph:
“He seems like the kind of guy who would be coming in to do it right and have a blast. People like that are welcome in our industry anytime,”

“If we’re speaking things into existence, WrestleMania 39, come at me McConaughey, I’m gonna f**k you up,”
McConaughey last appeared on WWE programming in the thick of the ThunderDome era, and even teased a more involved run with the company early last year. So, could Owens be gifted with yet another blockbuster piece of business come 'Mania season 2023?
Alright, alright, alright...
