Kevin Owens Discusses WWE's Control Of Superstar Twitter Accounts

Just how much control does WWE exercise over individual wrestler Twitter accounts?

Kevin Owens has responded to a fan tweet alleging that WWE holds complete control over what wrestlers post on Twitter and other social media platforms.

The fan in question stated that "accounts are mostly run and managed by WWE". Quoting that idea, KO replied, "Oh sh*t - I guess I didn't get the memo!". Other wrestling fans instantly blew up the comments by either defending the idea that WWE tightly controls everything on social media or laughing at Owens' for being so brazen.

Raw announcer Corey Graves even chimed in to offer: "This is my excuse, and I’m sticking to it.".

WWE's influence over what individual workers post on social media has been a talking point for many years. Sometimes, wrestlers do share clearly pre-planned content that advertises different products or seems to be a copy and paste job from official company outlets.

Then, there's Kevin Owens, who...pretty much does whatever the hell he wants. This tweet proves that he's the real deal and has the freedom to explore Twitter without being restricted by Vince McMahon.

Obviously, there's a line wrestlers are expected not to cross. KO's account is very much KO though.
