Kota Ibushi Reveals Current AEW Contract Details
Kota Ibushi's AEW deal contains a few interesting conditions.
Kota Ibushi has provided an update on his current AEW deal.
When talking in an interview posted to X by HD Subs recently, the one-time IWGP World Heavyweight Champion revealed how there were a few conditions that needed to be present in his contract with Tony Khan's company before he agreed to sign on the dotted line.
Calling it "the best deal", Ibushi stated how he requested to live and work in Japan, travelling back to the United States as and when he was needed in an All Elite ring. The NJPW legend also explained that he would prefer to be able to perform in other promotions and reduce the amount of matches he appears in.
And unsurprisingly, AEW were quite happy to agree to all of the above.
Kota Ibushi talks how and when he signed a contract with AEW:

When it comes to the exact moment Ibushi put pen to paper on an All Elite contract, the Golden Lover recalled actually agreeing to sign with AEW on the day of Blood & Guts, with the two parties having a "verbal agreement" at that point.
Since showing up in that bloody Dynamite war in July, Ibushi has also appeared at both All In and WrestleDream, ending up on the losing side in both of those multi-person bouts.
And while it's not exactly clear when 'The Golden Star' will pop back up in the promotion again, Ibushi seems to be very much happy to be a part of the All Elite machine and dedicated to Tony Khan's organisation.
