In yet another update on the CM Punk/AEW situation, the former AEW World Champion and company EVPs the Young Bucks are still yet to apologise to each other.

This was just one of a number of updates provided in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, with Dave Meltzer also noting how this is down to Punk being told not to make contact with Nick and Matt Jackson at this current moment, according to sources close to The Best in the World.

On top of this, Meltzer explained that the planned meeting between Punk, FTR, Tony Khan, and Chris Jericho still hasn't taken place, with said sit-down likely being an important step in resolving the ongoing issues involving the Chick Magnet and others within the company.

When it comes to the former WWE star's potential return to AEW programming, Meltzer also stated in the most recent Observer Newsletter that it is looking like Punk's comeback will be going down on June 17 at the United Center in Chicago, with that same date "likely" seeing the debut of AEW's new Saturday night TV show, rumoured to be called Collision.

Things haven't been fully finalised at time of writing, though Meltzer did say that, with the building already being booked, it will probably be announced very shortly.

Punk's Collision comeback will also reportedly lead to an AEW roster split, with many speculating that this is AEW's way of keeping certain performers apart going forward.
