Latest Update On HUGE WWE Star's Return

This top WWE star could be returning in time for SummerSlam this August.

The Fiend Bray Wyatt

Bray Wyatt's 'Fiend' character is currently being advertised locally in the Orlando area for WWE's 9 August Raw show.

Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp tweeted this info out, and it looks like that'll be the date his 'Fiendishness' roars back into action; WWE might only be promoting Bray locally so he can work some sort of dark match main event. It remains to be seen if he'll actually be on TV that night, obviously, but it's an interesting thought.

Sapp's tweet also claimed that Edge is being advertised for the 3 September edition of SmackDown. Most expect the 'Rated-R Superstar' back before then so he can play some part in the SummerSlam festivities. Meanwhile, Bray's return would also bring him in line with a role on the pay-per-view too.

There's no word yet on whether or not WWE will tweak Wyatt's 'Fiend' character yet again or simply return him to his old state (before Randy Orton made him all crispy) permanently - Bray did appear as his old self at WrestleMania 37.

Stay tuned for more news on this when it becomes available, but it looks like the 'Fiend' will be back soon.
