Having been absent from WWE programming for just over a year now, Becky Lynch is reported to have recently signed a new contract with Vince McMahon’s sports entertainment juggernaut.

Via Ringside News, the belief is that The Man re-signed with WWE a couple of weeks back. Prior to that, Lynch’s previous contract was signed in 2019 and was supposedly in the region of $1 million per year.

The last time WWE fans saw the Irish Lass Kicker on television was on 11 May 2020, which was the post-Money in the Bank Raw where Becky announced that she was pregnant and handed her Raw Women’s Championship over to Asuka.

In terms of in-ring action, the last time Lynch competed was at WrestleMania 36 as she retained that aforementioned title against Shayna Baszler.

Becky and fiancé Seth Rollins welcomed baby girl Roux into the world in December, and WWE President Nick Khan this April stated how The Man will be returning to WWE “in the not too distant future”. Where and when that return happens remains to be seen, but Lynch will clearly add so much to the women's division on either Raw or SmackDown.
