Mercedes Moné Wants YOU To Carry Her Title Belts After Winning EIGHTH Championship (AEW News)
Mercedes '8 Belts' Moné posts totally serious job advert looking for a title carrier.
Mercedes Moné says she is looking for a title belt carrier after winning her seventh and eighth wrestling championships in Europe this past weekend.
The AEW star, who has been working a belt collector gimmick since adding the NJPW STRONG Women's Championship to her AEW TBS Championship on 30 June 2024, posted the tongue-in-cheek advert to X/Twitter on Monday.
Said Mercedes:
Serious inquiries only! Looking for someone who wants to travel the world and carry my titles. Must live in Orlando, FL ?
This comes after appearing at a Prime Time Wrestling show in Poland this Sunday, 27 July, where Moné defeated Diana Strong, becoming the Prime Time Wrestling Women's Champion and BestYa Wrestling Women's Champion.
The CEO adds her two new straps to a belt collection already including the following:
- RevPro Undisputed British Women's Championship
- CMLL World Women's Championship
- EWA Women's Championship
- Queen of Southside Championship
- 2025 AEW Owen Hart Foundation Women's Tournament Championship
Of those, Mercedes has held the TBS Championship the longest, with her reign reaching 430 days at the time of writing. She won the belt by dethorining Willow Nightingale at Double or Nothing 2024 last May and has since mounted successful defences against such names as Britt Baker, Kris Statlander, and, most recently, Mina Shirakawa.
The AEW Women's World Championship has evaded Moné thus far in her run with the Tony Khan-helmed promotion. Toni Storm defeated Mercedes with the Women's World Title on the line at All In Texas (12 July), handing the former Sasha Banks her first AEW pinfall loss in the process.
Regardless, Mercedes now has a title collection to make Ultimo Dragon blush.
