After six months out of action, Orange Cassidy made his long-awaited AEW return on last night's Dynamite.

While Freshly Squeezed's return wasn't outright confirmed at All Out over the weekend, it was heavily teased when Mark Briscoe asked Kyle O'Reilly if he was ready for a six-man tag match on this week's Dynamite. KOR was on the phone with an unknown person at that time, with the he implied to be the person whom O'Reilly was speaking to. So, when Kyle responded with a nonchalant "whatever", many fans took that as an indicator that Orange Cassidy was on his way back this week.

Indeed, Cassidy was the surprise-but-totally-not-a-surprise partner for Briscoe and Hologram as they took on the Don Callis Family's Kazuchika Okada, Konosuke Takeshita, and Hechicero last night, with OC making his return by appearing in one of Callis' "masterpiece" portraits.

The Conglomeration would emerge victorious in the match itself, with Hologram picking up the win after hitting Hechicero with the portal bomb. Post-match, Kyle Fletcher came out to offer Hologram a shot at the AEW TNT Title on next week's Dynamite, with Hologram's undefeated streak on the line.

As for Orange Cassidy, this marked his first match since March, where he was part of a four-way eliminator bout for a shot at the now-defunct AEW International Championship. A torn pectoral muscle kept Cassidy on the sidelines until last night's return.
