MJF Names Stipulations For Latest AEW Match With Chris Jericho
The Pinnacle's leader threw down his "labours" last night, and Le Champion agreed...
Chris Jericho has agreed to the stipulations thrown down by MJF ahead of their latest AEW match, doing so on last night's Road Rager special.
The warring Inner Circle and Pinnacle leaders met for an in-ring face to face. After going back and forth, cutting promos on one another, MJF dived into Greek mythology, referencing "The Labours of Hercules" before coming up with five of his own.
For Jericho to be granted another match with MJF, Jericho must defeat four opponents of MJF's choosing (with stipulations of MJF's choosing too) back to back. If he is successful in doing, Jericho advances to the fifth labour: MJF himself.
The 25-year-old's insistence that Jericho shake his hand before he would sign the contract backfired on him, as a Judas Effect left the Pinnacle leader looking at the lights to close the segment.
MJF and Jericho have been warring for months now. The process began with MJF and Wardlow infiltrating The Inner Circle last year, leading, eventually, to The Pinnacle's formation in March 2021. When it eventually goes down, this will be MJF and Jericho's second singles match in AEW, with MJF besting the veteran at Full Gear 2020 last November.
