As we approach 2021, Impact Wrestling have officially confirmed a fourth match for their Hard To Kill pay-per-view on Saturday, 16 January. There, Taya Valkyrie will challenge Deonna Purrazzo for the Knockouts Championship.

It was Taya who issued the challenge to 'The Virtuosa' on the penultimate Impact of 2020. As the longest-reigning Knockouts Champion in history, 'Wera Loca' is an important opponent for Purrazzo to overcome. As the champion herself put it on last night's show, defeating arguably the greatest Knockouts Champion in recent history will prove why we're living in the age of 'The Virtuosa'. Needless to say, that is sure to be a match of the night contender.

Of course, Hard To Kill won't feature just one title match from the knockouts division, as we'll crown new Knockouts Tag Team Champions for the first time since 2013. It was that tournament where the beef properly began between Valkyrie and Purrazzo, with Taya and Rosemary eliminating Deonna and Kimber Lee in the quarterfinals, leading Purrazzo and Lee to cost Valkyrie and Rosemary their semifinals contest.
