New Signing To Debut On WWE TV Soon

This major free agent is set to debut on WWE TV imminently and receive an immediate push.

With reports that Jacob Fatu has now signed with WWE, it seems that fans won't have to wait long to see the Samoan Werewolf on their screens.

Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer not only stated that Fatu has indeed joined WWE, but that he's going to be starting on TV "soon" and getting an immediate push.

For those maybe not familiar with Jacob Fatu, he's long been one of the very best big men in the game, possessing amazing athleticism in addition to his scary power and intensity. At 31 years of age, Fatu has notably competed for the likes of MLW, GCW, NJPW, and HOG, and is one of the many, many wrestlers who are part of the Samoan Dynasty - which has led to many speculating that the former MLW World Champion could become a part of the Bloodline.

In terms of that heritage, Jacob Fatu is the son of the Tonga Kid, with the Tonga Kid being the twin brother of Rikishi. As such, that means that Rikishi is Jacob's uncle, and the Usos and Solo Sikoa are his cousins, plus Fatu is also related to, amongst others, Roman Reigns, The Rock, Yokozuna, Umaga, and Rosey.

Given how the star himself took to X over the weekend to post a picture of the Islanders, that's had some thinking Fatu could possibly be introduced alongside Tama Tonga. With Tama believed to have also signed with WWE earlier in the year, his father is the legendary Haku, and the Islanders were of course the team of Haku and the Tonga Kid.

Either way, it appears that Jacob Fatu will be on WWE programming sooner rather than later, and it wouldn't be a major shock to see the big man appear as soon as SmackDown this Friday.
