9. Bad Luck Fale
Like the rest of his teammates, Bad Luck Fale will likely be chomping at the bit to return to New Japan and start re-building the strength of the Bullet Club. The New Japan Cup is the perfect arena to do this in, and multiple members could make it into the later rounds.
Fale ranks above his BC brethren because of his strong run in last year's G1; he was on course to win before intra-faction rivalries scuppered his chances. Add to that his past victories over Heavyweight Champion Okada and you have a beastly adversary waiting to break into the title picture. The field is currently so strong however that Fale still remains an outside chance to win the Cup but don't be too surprised if he rises to the occasion.
