NXT Star Departs After Issues With WWE Officials

Another one bites the dust...

NXT Star Taynara Conti looks set to leave WWE after reported issues with management, according to the Wrestling Observer, Fightful Select and Wrestling BR.

Her impending exit from NXT was reported in mid-January and it's still relatively unclear as to whether Conti actually walked out on the company, as she is still under contract.

One source did speculate that the disagreement may have been a financial one and Conti even apparently refused to work NXT's Women's Battle Royal main event in January, the same match where Bianca Belair earned an NXT Women's title shot against Rhea Ripley at NXT Takeover: Portland.

Conti has stripped any mention of WWE from her Twitter page (besides her handle) but does still count herself as an NXT Superstar in her Instagram bio.

The black belt in Judo and blue belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu has been signed with WWE since 2016 and has made appearances in 2017 and 2018's May Young Classics, alongside a spot in WrestleMania 34's Women's Battle Royal.

Could Conti be about to bet on herself and potentially sign on with another wrestling promotion, ala AEW or TNA? Or could she use her Martial Arts prowess to forge a serious career in MMA?
