NXT Star Has Now Been Promoted To WWE Main Roster
This NXT star has impressed so much recently, he's now seemingly a part of the main roster!
Dragon Lee is now seemingly a part of WWE's main roster.
The NXT star has appeared on the likes of Raw and SmackDown over the last few weeks, producing an eye-catching display in his North American Championship bout against Dominik Mysterio and battling with Austin Theory on Friday nights.
And that impressive fight with The Judgment Day's 'Dom Dom' on Monday Night Raw in particular appears to have led to him now being officially brought up to WWE's main roster, according to the most recent edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
Dave Meltzer also explains that the contract the masked sensation signed with WWE did suggest he'd be called up after a year. However, that awesome showdown with the son of Rey Mysterio looks to have resulted in him being fast-tracked.
Interestingly, it was also noted in the Observer how a lot of folks in Mexico have been monitoring how both Lee and Bandido are doing in WWE and AEW, respectively, with both talents starting in their new companies around the same time and the latter luchador unfortunately having his progress slowed down by injuries.
At this moment in time, it certainly looks like Lee made the right choice when opting to sign with WWE instead of Tony Khan's promotion last year.
He could even make his official main roster PLE debut as soon as tonight at Fastlane if 'Rey-Rey' and the LWO decide to bring him in as their last-minute replacement for their match against Bobby Lashley and the Street Profits.
