NXT has done it again, and what better time to showcase everything they've got than WrestleMania weekend? Early fan reception to NXT TakeOver: Dallas has been almost universally positive, with many rightly wondering quite how the Granddaddy of Them All can even begin to top the quality wrestling we saw on display here.

How many WWE shows can you watch and honestly declare that there wasn't a single bad match? TakeOver went above and beyond expectations, and in fact, there was only one match on the five-match card that that we scored less than an 8/10.

Expectations were met, titles changed hands, and some fascinating seeds were sewn for the future of both NXT and the WWE as a whole. Your move, WrestleMania, but if we were Vince McMahon, we might be a little worried that our son-in-law's pet project will end up shaming the parent company by the end of the weekend.

Here's every match from NXT TakeOver: Dallas ranked from worst to best...

5. Austin Aries Vs. Baron Corbin

Result: Aries countered the End of Days to win with a roll-up (11:45).

Rating: Though the winner was never in doubt, this was still a decent if fairly unremarkable contest. It moved fairly slowly and the two aren't naturally well-matched competitors, but it was undeniably great to see Aries doing his thing on such a grand stage.

Aries got a fine showcase while Corbin didn't come out of it looking weak at all, considering how much of the match he dominated, and it only cemented how great of a heel he can be. It's just a shame that the crowd weren't much into it and that Aries won with a mild roll-up rather than something more impactful. 6/10
