With AEW soon to see the in-ring debut of former UFC Heavyweight Champion Junior dos Santos, it's now been revealed that both AEW and WWE have held talks with another MMA name in the shape of Arjan Bhullar.

The current ONE Heavyweight Champion, Bhullar himself confirmed that he's had discussions with both companies and that we should be getting further news on this "very soon".

Speaking on the Calf Kick Sports show (as per Fightful), Bhullar said the following when asked about whether he's had any contact about working with WWE or AEW.

"They both are [interested]. I've been engaged with both companies and we should have something coming down the pipe every soon. I picked a fight with both companies and everyone out there. It's something I'm going to do and I'm just looking to get the business care in order and the right approach."

In addition to being the ONE Heavyweight Champion, 35-year-old Bhullar also had four fights in the UFC as part of a career that currently stands at 11-1.

Away from MMA, Bhullar represented Canada at the 2012 Olympics, the 2010 Commonwealth Games, and four World Championships. He is also said to be close friends with one-time WWE Champion Jinder Mahal.

Of course, as well as Junior dos Santos, AEW is these days working with several other MMA names, including Jorge Masvidal, Miesha Tate and American Top Team founder Dan Lambert. As for WWE, they've notably had Brock Lesnar, Ronda Rousey and Ken Shamrock as significant players in the company over the years.
