The best match from the best show of the year, Bret Hart and Mr Perfect always looked like the were born to wrestle each other. 

The crowning of 'The Hitman' as Intercontinental Champion for the first time inside a white hot Madison Square Garden didn't scan as any kind of changing of the guard, but was crucial in rewarding those that had stayed loyal to yet another singles push for the 'Excellence Of Execution'. Nothing topped it on the night, and Hart was prepping fans for much more of that.
