Though it was recently reported that Jason Jordan would return in SummerSlam's aftermath, Kurt Angle's son still isn't as ring-ready has first though, and has been shadowing members of the production team in the interim.

Theres an outside chance he may never make it to the ring, but if he does, a reunion with former tag partner Chad Gable (who's as lost as D.B. Cooper on Raw) awaits, which should, theoretically, benefit both parties immensely.

Though Jordan was putting forth good work as an oblivious heel prior to his injury, playing the hot tag role in a babyface team has always been his biggest strength. Gable, meanwhile, is an ultra-talented wunderkind too short to make it as a singles wrestler in Vince McMahon's world. Sticking them back together makes sense, and the effort WWE put in to promoting Jordan as a solo competitor suggests a big push would be forthcoming
