Predicting Every WWE/NXT Champion At WrestleMania 33

6. United States Champion - Baron Corbin

WWE are high on the Lone Wolf so, since he didn't get the chance to hold any gold in NXT, I'd expect to see him with a secondary championship to prove he's worthy of something more.

In all honesty, I'd prefer it if WWE did away with the United States Championship during the course of this year. There's absolutely no need for it, unless they go back to having two separate rosters.

Kalisto's run as champion has been a disaster and the belt needs a divisive character to get it back to relevancy once again.

But if they're not willing to go back to one secondary title, distinguishing a difference between the US and Intercontinental Championships should be a priority for WWE over the coming months, and having the US - the less prestigious title of the two in terms of a WWE history - as the belt the young pretenders go after could be the way forward for one of the more bewildered titles in the company.

Nevertheless, Corbin has the potential to be one of the few true heels on the roster, and a prolonged title run could be the making of him.

He's currently in that weird region between legitimate heat and X-Pac heat, so hopefully some controversially and meaningful work could be on his horizon.
