10. Tommaso Ciampa Returns

The perfect NXT ending would see a victorious Adam Cole interrupted mid-celebration, surrounded by The Undisputed Era, with his mood flipping at the first beep on Tommaso Ciampa's heartbeat monitor.

A confrontation would follow in which Ciampa, who was robbed of his NXT Championship by injury, will stake his claim for the next big title shot. It doesn't matter whether they get physical or not: Cole vs. Ciampa should be established in this moment, though this could take the form of a Ciampa-led team of NXT stalwarts meeting The Undisputed Era inside WarGames.

Ciampa recently hit Twitter to rubbish internet reports that he was cleared to return to action on 1 September. It's impossible to take this at face value as wrestlers are always working and he wouldn't exactly go out of his way to spoil a big surprise, making it hard to pinpoint an exact return date. Regardless, if Ciampa is fit, WWE are almost certainly going to use him this week. His comeback would be the one big, game-changing angle NXT on USA has lacked so far.
