Predicting EVERYTHING That Will Happen On This Crazy Week Of Wrestling

7. Chris Jericho's Mystery Partners

One element of AEW Dynamite that's likely to disappoint is the unveiling of Chris Jericho's mystery partners, due, primarily, to a lack of options outside the obvious.

The former LAX duo of Santana and Ortiz are the safest bet. The high-octane duo debuted for the promotion at All Out, clearing the ring after The Young Bucks and Lucha Brothers' devilish ladder match, with little follow-up since then. That in-built Bucks beef could be capitalised upon to build a potentially brilliant tag team feud starting at Dynamite, though the entire wrestling world would see this coming a mile off.

But if not Ortiz and Santana, who else? That's tough. The 2019 wrestling signing spree has left very few name wrestlers on the table, and even fewer tag teams. If only The Revival had successfully negotiated an early release from their WWE contracts.

This big reveal is one of Dynamite's biggest hooks, so it'd be a shame to see it go down the predictable route. Still, Ortiz and Santana are an elite tandem who make everything more exciting. The match will blow the roof off, even if the surprise underwhelms.
