It can be incredibly hard to predict what's going to happen in WWE. It's not just that plans change constantly, or that even the most structured storylines need to bend to allow for variables (such as injuries or an unexpected fan reaction) - there are also major turnarounds that shake the company up from top to bottom that we certainly can't foresee. After all, a year ago, who would have thought that the brand split would have returned?

Nevertheless, it's natural for fantasy bookers - both those who are trying to figure out the creative team's plans and those who are trying to play the role of decision-maker themselves - to craft a plan for the future... let's just hope that nobody's putting any money on it.

With that in mind, I've tried to pinpoint the next 10 WWE Champions - five Universal Champions, five World Champions. These men will carry both Raw and SmackDown for the next year-plus, headlining shows and representing their brands. Some will repeat past successes, some will finally achieve overdue greatness, and some may even become the legends of the next generation.
