Universal Champions...

5. Finn Bálor

It didn't take Kevin Owens long to become the longest-reigning Universal Champion of all time, but there's no doubt that the inaugural champion was watching. Finn Bálor defeated Seth Rollins to win the title at SummerSlam, but a shoulder injury he suffered in the match put him on the shelf.

Bálor is expected back before WrestleMania, but not in time for the Royal Rumble - that means that he'd make a perfect entrant for February's Elimination Chamber match, which can crown a number one contender to the Universal Title. Bálor can defeat Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Chris Jericho, Braun Strowman, and Big E to claim the shot.

Bálor already knows what it takes to beat Owens - he did it to win the NXT Title - but "The Prizefighter" has come a lot further since his days in the developmental brand. Nevertheless, Bálor will put Owens away to get the title reign he was meant to have.
