Predicting The Next 10 WWE Universal Champions

1. Finn Bálor

Apollo Universal
WWE Network

Apollo enjoys a fair run at the top, but eventually it all has to come crumbling down. Who better to crumble the main event scene than Bálor Club?

In a backstage segment the night after WrestleMania, Finn Bálor gets the boys back together and tells them that he's figured out how to properly take over the whole entire wrestling world. Everyone expects some huge takeover, but nothing happens. In fact, no mention is made of Bálor, Gallows, or Anderson for quite some time. Months go by and Apollo has managed to successfully defend his Universal title against the likes of Seth Rollins and Samoa Joe. During an episode of Raw a few weeks before SummerSlam, however, Bálor finally makes his return. Alone.

It's built up as Apollo vs. Finn Bálor in the main event of SummerSlam and no mentions at all are made of Gallows or Anderson. Instead of focusing on the past, this story is built around Finn Bálor being much more aggressive in the ring. In fact, he's so aggressive with his assaults on Apollo that the match is turned into a No DQ Universal Championship match: just what Finn wanted.

Despite their names not being mentioned at all during the build-up, the second the bell rings for the SummerSlam main event, Gallows & Anderson strike. And they strike hard too. The announcers call the audience back two years earlier, when the exact same situation took place in a No DQ SummerSlam match; amazed that it's managed to happen again. Within just a few minutes, Apollo is bloodied and completely beaten down. With a final Coup de Grace, Bálor Club has ended SummerSlam 2020 on top once again, and head into Raw with a style much more reminiscent of nWo.

This time, they truly take over professional wrestling.
