4. Jeff Hardy
The good thing about someone like John Morrison winning the WWE Championship is the type of matches that will come with it. Morrison is a reliable show-stopper and he'd undoubtedly put on a series of jaw-dropping championship matches. And one of those jaw-droppers would be against none other than Jeff Hardy.
Hardy's best days as an in-ring performer are behind him but when he's motivated he can still really deliver - he just needs the right opponent to make him shine. He and Morrison have some five-star history that suggests the 'Shaman of Sexy' is the man for the job, and after a competitive match or two - in which the Charismatic Enigma would come up slightly short - he could finally topple the Monday Night Delight to become the WWE Champion, earning himself that long-awaited singles title run in the process.
It probably wouldn't be a long reign for Hardy but it would be worth it so that the veteran could get one more reign atop the WWE food chain, holding the gold for the first time in a decade.
