Predicting The Next 10 WWE World Champions
3. AJ Styles
This one is a bit of predictable pick because AJ Styles is currently in the WWE Title picture. However, it's somewhat unlikely that his current program with McIntyre will lead to a title reign considering that the 'Scottish Psychopath' is expected to carry the gold into WrestleMania. That doesn't mean Styles has to wait forever to regain the belt though.
Styles enjoyed a long and successful title reign on SmackDown between 2017 and 2018, with 'The Champ That Runs The Camp' holding the gold for 371 days. Since then, he has turned heel and held both the U.S. Championship and the Intercontinental Championship. However, it's likely that he will find his way back to the top prize - now on the red brand - in the foreseeable future.
As for how it could happen? Well, it wouldn't be too out there for him to cross paths with old rival Jeff Hardy, with the pair resurrecting their previous feud (which was for the Intercontinental Title) as they collide for the WWE Championship. Like Morrison, Styles could potentially draw a great match out of Hardy - after all, they've already given us some pretty solid ones - before ultimately ending his short reign as champion.
